Sound

There are various reasons why you may hear nothing. Firstly, it may be worth checking that you are not watching silent meditation, ask viewers in chat if they can hear anything. If there is definitely sound being broadcast, then there are several ways to control audio levels on computers.

• make sure that the master volume of the computer is turned up.
• make sure that the volume for the mixer source is turned up (windows only)
• make sure that the volume on the actual video player is turned up.

Video

Again there are various problems to be experienced with video. Firstly, it is best to be using an up to date version of flash, available free from

If the video stops and starts, this may be due to bandwidth restrictions anywhere between the point of broadcast and your computer, but you will definitely experience problems if you have a connection that cannot handle 400kbps download.

If the picture blacks out or freezes whilst you are watching, it may be worth pressing the browser refresh button
